What they are and how to obtain them"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>What is an electricity-intensive company? An<strong>electricity-intensive company<\/strong> is a firm that has <strong>an average yearly consumption of electricity of at least 1 GWh<\/strong>, calculated for the reference period.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h4>\n\n<p>In order to qualify for subsidies, companies must demonstrate they have <strong>taken measures to raise energy efficiency <\/strong>in line with the Legislative Decree. 102\/2014. In particular, they must meet one of the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>adoption of <strong>an energy management system<\/strong> in compliance with standard ISO 50.001, which includes an energy audit further to the criteria st out in annex 2 to legislative decree 102\/2014;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>or<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>performance of a valid <strong>energy audit<\/strong>, communicated to ENEA, drafted in accordance with the Legislative Decree. 102\/2014.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Amount of incentives<\/h4>\n\n<p>If companies meet these requirements, they can benefit from a reduction in system charges on their electricity bill. This specifically concerns component A <sub>SOS<\/sub>i.e. the portion of general charges relating to support for renewable energies and cogeneration pursuant to CIP 6\/92.<\/p>\n\n<p>The amount of the subsidy depends on the category of enterprise (ATECO code) and gross value added (GVA).<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who to contact<\/h4>\n\n<p>Given the complexity of the issue, it may be a good idea to consult qualified professionals (such as EGEs or energy managers) who possess the specific skills needed to:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>calculate the potential economic benefits;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>manage communication with the Cassa per i Servizi Energetici e Ambientali (CSEA) when filing the application and handling the preliminary documentation phase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The application should be presented through the <strong><a xmlns:xhtml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xhtml\" xhtml:href=\"https:\/\/energivori.csea.it\/\" xhtml:target=\"_blank\" xhtml:rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ad hoc portal provided by CSEA<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>by no later than 22 December 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Do not hesitate to <strong><a xmlns:xhtml=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xhtml\" xhtml:href=\"https:\/\/www.sgrefficienzaenergetica.it\/en\/contact-info\/\">contact us<\/a><\/strong> to find out more about incentive opportunities for electricity-intensive companies.
