The issue of energy transition challenges us to reach climate neutrality by 2050. Households and businesses in Italy are called upon to gradually reduce their CO2 emissions. RECs are a fantastic opportunity in this respect, allowing the self-consumption of energy shared by a number of subjects.
There are carbon credits on the voluntary market for non-avoidable emissions. These innovative tools are attracting more and more companies as they embark on their own path to sustainability. But one must beware of greenwashing: the market is growing, but requires expertise to navigate it.
