Monitoring energy use using an advanced analysis and management system is the first step when launching an energy efficiency project.

Solar thermal power is one of the simplest and traditionally most adopted renewable technologies, capturing, storing and using solar energy to produce hot water. It can be used for civil purposes (air conditioning in the winter and sanitary uses) or in industrial processes. To optimise the contribution of renewables and maximise energy and economic savings, it is important to consider a few key points: choice of the most suitable technology according to use and location (e.g. flat or vacuum systems, natural or forced circulation); correct sizing of the system in terms of capturing surfaces, orientation, storage capacity and operating logic; interfacing and correct integration with existing systems. It is thus essential to rely on people who can offer specific expertise, who know how to design, build, manage and maintain installations in such a way as to ensure their long life and constant savings over time.

SGR Efficienza Energetica has embraced the challenge of improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impacts by integrating new technologies and expanding the range of services available to its customers.

Among the solutions for distributed energy generation from renewable sources, photovoltaic technology plays a key role. We provide comprehensive support throughout Italy, covering every stage of a plant’s development and operation:

• Initial consultancy
• System sizing and design
• Installation of advanced technologies in compliance with applicable safety regulations
• Removal and disposal of asbestos roofing
• Testing and commissioning
• Administrative procedures, including grid connection and, where required, energy withdrawal
• Performance monitoring
• Scheduled maintenance

Our experience in this sector, supported by a dedicated team of designers and analysts, enables us to develop innovative, tailor-made solutions for a wide range of requirements, from small residential systems to large-scale installations for energy-intensive industrial companies.

The current trend towards the electrification of consumption is helping with the spread of alternatives to combustion generation systems, such as heat pumps and hybrid systems. Heat pumps are devices that use electricity to transfer heat from an external source (air, groundwater, waste heat, etc.) to an indoor setting, partially or totally satisfying the needs for space heating or cooling and/or the production of domestic or industrial hot water. If they are designed, built and operated correctly, these systems can be more efficient than traditional systems, especially if they are integrated with renewable sources, enabling part of the electricity needed to run the heat pumps to be self-produced on site.

SGR Efficienza Energetica offers innovative solutions for optimal energy performance, thanks to the revamping of existing installations and to the Genesis BMS system. After conducting an in-depth analysis of facilities and performance, our technicians are able to identify all critical issues and inefficiencies that cause excessive energy consumption in an installation. They then design an integrated plan, with the installation of state-of-the-art hardware and software components, capable of giving new life to each facility, with immediate benefits in terms of lower consumption and greater reliability and comfort. The advantages are clear to see: lower consumption compared with non-optimised facilities, and a significant drop in maintenance costs, thanks to round-the-clock monitoring.

Thanks to their professionalism and skills acquired over the years, companies in the SGR Efficienza Energetica group are able to provide a complete and efficient water treatment service. This service encompasses everything from planning to scheduled maintenance checks needed to keep the system in an optimal state of efficiency. Installation entails the use of high-quality materials and highly qualified personnel. After the necessary tests and inspections are carried out, certificates of legal conformity are issued. Thanks to the wide range of available products and solutions, bespoke systems can be designed in accordance with specific customer requirements. We also offer a turnkey service that gives the client a single point of reference for the project in question. Finally, our service also includes regular water analyses, both chemical and bacteriological, carried out by our trusted laboratories. This is to make sure that treated water is always safe and up to standard.

A well-structured maintenance plan is crucial for optimising expenditure, enhancing performance and prolonging plant life. Thanks to a scheduled intervention calendar and integration with AI-based management systems, we are able to schedule maintenance work only when strictly necessary (most alerts are managed remotely from our operations centre), guaranteeing significant energy savings and up to a 20% reduction in maintenance costs.

Our vision is to make our contribution to a greener and more responsible future by promoting the adoption of renewable sources and the rational and conscious use of natural gas and electricity. Our mission is to supply energy and offer top-quality and professional services that have been constantly fine-tuned and updated for over 60 years. We want to stimulate a cultural change, based on the exchange of ideas and values, in the knowledge that we can add value to our Clients and Communities.

Thanks to its extensive network of qualified partners and a carefully chosen group of highly specialist companies, SGR Efficienza Energetica can be seen as a general contractor for the realisation of turnkey projects to upgrade energy systems and for the renovation and seismic retrofitting of buildings. The skills acquired by our personnel cover the entire life cycle of interventions, providing assistance to public and private entities during all stages of development: preliminary examination of technical-economic feasibility; analysis and economic appraisal of incentive instruments; design of actions; coordination and performance of works; handling of the process to obtain incentives and tax credits.

The Conto Termico is an instrument that offers incentives for actions to raise energy efficiency and produce thermal energy from renewable sources for small-scale plants. Beneficiaries: Public administrations; Businesses (e.g. condominiums and subjects receiving income from business or farming); Private concerns (e.g. individuals) Those eligible may use incentives directly or act through a certified ESCo (Energy Service Company). As an ESCo with UNI CEI 11352 certification, SGR Efficienza Energetica can help you to bring your energy needs into the future. There is available funding of EUR 900 million a year, 200 million of which set aside for Public Administrations for carrying out one or more of the actions set out in article 4(2) of the Decree. With the Conto Termico, buildings can be upgraded, and their energy performance improved, with a reduction in energy needs and related costs, making the intervention economically viable.

The Ecobonus is a measure introduced by the Ministry for Economic Development, and is aimed at all taxpayers. Tax deductions are offered to provide a very advantageous incentive for energy upgrading. This measure makes it possible to deduct from personal income tax (Irpef) or corporate income tax (Ires) a part of the expenses incurred to raise energy efficiency in existing buildings. The deduction is spread over 10 yearly instalments of equal amounts. Costs eligible for deduction include the costs of energy-saving interventions and costs related to the professional services needed to carry out the intervention itself and acquire required energy certification. 85%: Insulation of common areas of condos (>25% of the energy-leaking surface area) and 2-class drop in seismic risk 80%: Insulation of common areas of condos (>25% of the energy-leaking surface area) and 1-class drop in seismic risk 75%: Insulation of common areas of condos (>25% of the energy-leaking surface area) and medium quality of cladding 70%: Insulation of common areas of condos (>25% of the energy-leaking surface area) 65% Condensing boilers (class A) using state-of-the-art temperature control system Heat pumps Heat pump water heater Solar captors Hybrid generators Building automation systems Micro-cogenerators Thermal insulation cladding 50%: Windows, shutters, frames and sun shades Condensing boilers (class A)
